St. Peter of Seven Crowns

The remnants of the church of St. Peter of Seven Crowns were found under some massive drywall during the construction of a gas line.

The name "of Seven Crowns" is used because the inside of every wall has, along the whole height of the wall, three shallow niches crowned by the arch, and the seventh niche is located on the western wall, where the main entrance is situated.

It is possible that the arches symbolize the seven holy sacraments. The church is researched and conserved. It dates to 7/8th century. There are some urn graves found beside the church, similar to those in Rome.
